BPO business mission to Fiji in July
A business mission designed to provide an insight to Fiji’s growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector and connect businesspeople with key stakeholders in Fiji has been scheduled for July this year.<!--more-->

Pacific Islands Trade & Invest (PT&I) Australia, The Fiji High Commissioner to Australia His Excellency Mr Yogesh Punja, and the Fiji Consulate in Sydney have partnered to organise the Fiji Business Process Outsourcing mission.
Fiji has positioned itself as an attractive location for BPO operations, with the support of the Fiji Government. Its geographic location is ideal in terms of proximity and time zones, it offers world class IT infrastructure with excellent connectivity, attractive investment incentives, dynamic, vibrant, highly educated and customer-centric workforce – all in a low cost business environment.
The mission will help provide participants high level access to industry decision makers and relevant stakeholders. They will be able to see international standard BPO facilities first-hand. Participants will gain an understanding of opportunities and requirements of how to do business in Fiji. Fijian officials will familiarise participants with the Government’s investment incentives, its enabling environment and first world telecommunications infrastructure, besides other aspect.
The people of Fiji are renowned for friendly customer service. Fiji’s highly educated, young, and motivated workforce has extremely low attrition rates, while competitive costs make the country an attractive destination. Fiji was the 2013 finalist in Outsourcing Destination of the year awards (UK national Outsourcing Association) and the 2014 European Outsourcing Association (EOA) awards offshoring destination of the year award.

Wednesday 27th July Site Visits (TBC), Mind pearl including briefing, Captive centre processing facilities, Tax Free Trade Zone, Networking Function
Thursday 28th July Business-2-Business appointments
Friday 29th July Depart Suva, Fiji
