The training is open exclusively for small and medium business owners. It would be conducted at Red Mansion Comfort Inn Conference room. This is part of a successful New Zealand Government-funded programme, with more than 50 businesses participating since its launch in August 2010.
New Zealand trainers and mentors Lorraine George and Robyn Putt will be running a series of short presentations on key themes, which are essential to successful business growth. The training will provide some ‘must-haves’ that all businesses need to understand and include in their own business approach.
Among the themes covered by the training are clarifying why you are in business, business planning for future success, keeping on top of the finances, attracting and keeping new markets and customers, effective time management, getting the best out of your staff, and running successful family businesses.
“Small and Medium Business owners who have been in business for more than six months or at least one year, and feel that they need assistance in how to manage their businesses more effectively, are encouraged to apply to be considered for the Pacific Business Mentoring Programme. We are not charging any fees to apply for, or participate in this program,” says SICCI Chief Executive Officer, Jerry Tengemoana.
