Logistics expert to address PT&I’s PP2M

Registrations are fast filling up for the <b>Pacific Islands Trade &amp; Invest</b> organised <b>Pacific Path to Market</b> event in Suva, Fiji later this month.<!--more-->

The programme is an export capability building initiative that combines a range of export facilitation services provided by <b>PT&amp;I</b> with a range of expertise from relevant businesses and organisations to help export ready/export capable businesses enter new markets.

As head of IC’s Shanghai office, Mr Fung is responsible for business development as well as managing strategy and supply chain consulting projects for DHL, its customers and governments in the North-Asia region.

Mr Fung has over 10 years of management consulting experience at IC and an external consultancy in Europe, Singapore, Japan and China. He has worked on a broad variety of topics including strategy development, sector strategy, merger &amp; acquisitions, cost optimisation, organisation development, business process improvement, supply chain consulting studies as well as logistics innovation.

Mr Fung has overseen several consulting engagements with governments in China. He also speaks at various events and participates in regular knowledge exchange sessions on logistics thought leadership topics with organisations such as the World Economic Forum, the World Bank, Asia Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum, China Development Institute and the China Center for Urban Development.

Experienced international branding expert Rod Upchurch of Brando Creative will present an instructive session on brand development and design during the workshop. Pacific Periscope will profile Mr Upchurch in next week’s edition.

The two-day workshop will run from March 31 to April 1 followed by an opportunity for one-to-one meetings with the specialists on 2 April.
