EOI call for PNG Electrification investment programme

PNG Power Ltd (PPL) is a PNG Government owned company responsible for the generation, transmission, distribution and retailing of electricity in Papua New Guinea. The company has secured funds from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) through the Independent State of Papua New Guinea towards the cost of the Town Electrification Investment Program (TEIP).
The TEIP will improve power supply in provincial urban centers through replacement of high cost diesel power generation with sustainable renewable energy power generation. PPL now requires the services of a Project Advisor who shall have held significant project management roles in engineering projects preferably with involvement in hydro power projects; have solid exposure in ADB procurement procedures; possess excellent engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) experience, and have chartered status or membership in an international recognized engineering/project management institution. Eligible firms or individual consultants with substantial technical expertise are invited to express their interest, stating their professional experience to successfully perform the role of Project Advisor.
Once EOIs have been received, firms and or individuals will be shortlisted and invited to submit proposals. Please note that the EOI must be limited to no more than 10 pages. Since electronic copies are preferred and recommended, the file size of the EOI shall be restricted to 10MB. Additional information about any submitted EOI, if required, will be requested by PPL at its discretion.
