PT&I saw it as an opportunity to network with a range of exporters, trade and services enterprises and a number of government agencies present at the awards night held at the Intercontinental Resort in Natadola.

Teremoana Mato, Export Services Manager from PT&I’s Auckland offices said, “PT&I’s presence at the awards night demonstrates our interest in maintaining links with Fiji exporters and key government agencies.”

Speaking of the awards night to Pacific Periscope, Mr Mato said, “The night was made more special when the Biscuit Company of Fiji (a subsidiary of Flour Mills of Fiji) – with whom Jeremy Grennell and I met during our last trade visit in July this year to offer PT&I services and registered the company as a PT&I client – won the top exporter award.

Mr Mato and Mr Grennell of PT&I’s Sydney offices met with Ram Bajekal, FMF Managing Director and Jason Chandra, FMF Export Manager in Suva later in the week to discuss the company’s export plans going into 2013. Mr Bajekal said the award going into the second consecutive year, is a result of a great FMF team.

“It was great being at the event that rewards excellence at exporting across a dynamic range of industries,” Mr Grennell said of the awards night.
