Pacific Exporters to attend Food Fair in Germany

Building on the success of last year’s booth at SIAL Paris, this will be the first time PT&amp;I hosts an exhibitor booth at ANUGA which will provide a commercial platform for six Pacific Island food and beverage exporters from Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Tonga and Niue.

Returning to Europe this year with the intention to consolidate and extend their presence in European markets are Foods Pacific (Fiji) Limited, Heilala Vanilla, Fijiana Cacao and Niue Vanilla International.  New additions to the exhibitor line-up include Tavulomo and Anruqa.

ANUGA is a two-yearly food and beverage trade fair, held in alternation with Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL).  In combination, these two events constitute the world’s largest and most important commercial food and beverage trade show platform. These events are so widely attended and represented that they complement each other and European food and beverage businesses need only attend one trade show a year to source or reach the vast majority of relevant trade contacts in Europe and beyond.

The Pacific Islands booth at ANUGA 2015 offers a cost effective direct marketing opportunity to Pacific Island business that have the capacity to supply northern hemisphere markets via provision of targeted access to potential importers / distributors and retail chains.

While the majority of the 155,000 (2013) commercial visitors to ANUGA originate in EU member states and the UK, Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, this is a global platform from which exporters will gain direct access trade decision makers from 190+ countries across the globe.
