Trade Pasifika registrations close today
Registrations for the inaugural Trade Pasifika 2012 trade show to be held in Fiji close today.<!--more--> The registration has had to be extended after continuing requests for participation from companies across the region and beyond, says a news release from the organisers. Pacific Businesses at the event will be showcasing a diverse range of products from around the region. Some of these include food products such as snacks made from unsweetened banana; taro and breadfruit chips from Samoa, organic coffee from Vanuatu, palm wood, pearls and herbal products from Fiji, besides exquisite craft items from the Marshalls Islands and the Solomon Islands, first grade salt of Christmas Islands, noni cosmetic products from Tonga as well as extra virgin coconut oil.
The exhibition space has been grouped under heads such as primary industries, manufactured goods, service industries and Women In Business.
An important element of the Trade Pasifika 2012 is the business seminar and panel discussions that will be conducted over the three days, says the news release.
