Investment Facilitation Manager
An excellent opportunity has become available for an Investment Manager based in Auckland with Pacific Islands Trade Invest, the trade and investment promotional arm of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) based in Fiji.
Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) creates good jobs in the Pacific Islands. We do this by developing and promoting Pacific Islands export and investment, across international markets. We are part of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat and are the lead agency in the region promoting and supporting established enterprises of the Pacific Islands with a particular focus on women owned or managed businesses.
The 16 Pacific Island Countries (PICs) we service are Cook Islands, Fiji, FSM, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tahiti, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. We have offices in Auckland, Beijing, Geneva and Sydney,
Reporting directly to the Trade Commissioner, the Investment Facilitation Manager will provide high quality operational and analytical support to the Trade Commissioner to contribute to driving investment into the Pacific region.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a tertiary qualification in international development/relations, economics, finance or business administration and at least five years’ experience working in international trade, investment or trade finance. A track record of achieving trade and investment related outcomes in the PICs would be highly desirable.
