As an exporter based in the Pacific Islands region, if you are exploring entering the China market, trade fairs and expos offer a great starting point to meet buyers and to research the China market for potential opportunities.
As in previous years, this year too Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) China has published a calendar of the upcoming Chinese Expo season.
“Our expert local advisers are at the potential exporters’ disposal to assist with their plans to explore opportunities in China, to provide marketing advice and to match them with prospective buyers and distributors,” says Vivienne Song, PTI China’s Export Manager.
Participating and visiting expos can be a good way to conduct some buyer and consumer research, measure up the competition, begin marketing and make valuable business contacts, she adds.
In 2017, PTI China assisted natural skincare exporters from Fiji and Papua New Guinea to exhibit at Asia’s leading beauty expo, Cosmoprof Hong Kong, where participants made valuable connections with new buyers.
