Escaping to a sun-drenched beach to relax and recharge is truly one of life’s luxurious pleasures.

Comptoir des Monoï embodies the Tahitian woman, the vahiné, an iconic beauty of today -who represents natural beauty, diversity, and generosity.

With more than 20 years of experience, Comptoir des Monoï has developed their formulas from the best ingredients.

Their premium product uses the finest of Tahitian monoï oils.

What is Monoï

Monoï means ‘scented oil’ in the Reo-Maohi language and refers to the flower also known as the tiare or the Tahitian gardenia.

The Maohi, the indigenous peoples of Tahiti have used it in their everyday life for more than 2000 years.

Comptoir des Monoï combine the traditional method of soaking tiare flower petals in coconut oil with modern processing to create their oil.

The Sign of Quality

Comptoir des Monoï products contain a high concentration of the monoï oils and holds the Appellation d’Origine. In English this is known as the ‘Protected / Controlled Designation of Origin’ (AOP / AOC).

An appellation is a legally defined and protected geographical indication used to identify where particular produce is grown, or other products for example, cheese, are made.

It shows that it is the true product, rather than imitation.

When you open a Comptoir des Monoï beauty product the scent of the tiare flower will whisk you away to Tahiti, evoking all the colours, scents, and textures from the Polynesian landscape.
