Thanks to all our clients and customers I have had the pleasure to work with this year.

Although 2016 has been a year of peaks and troughs, on reflection there were more ups than downs and that’s usually a good thing!

It was heartening to see the supportive response by many to Cyclone Winston in Fiji earlier this year.

In true Pasifika spirit, people showed their strength and resilience in the face of adversity.

I’ve tried to tell the stories of many of our clients in our fortnightly Pacific Periscope e-newsletter, in our social media Facebook, YouTube and Google+.

A few projects that stood out for me included the University of Canterbury 21 Day Challenge to Niue; Pasifika Festival and the PT&I Food Trade shows in Auckland, Melbourne and Geneva; Niue Vanilla International becoming the first Pacific food product stocked by Trade Aid in its 31 stores in 40+ years  Niue’s Honey that won two classes at the National Honey Show 2016 in England along with the Medal of Ukraine; the reopening of Tonga’s Tanoa Dateline International, Fiji at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and the Pacific Fashion Show in Sydney, the opening of the Fale of Samoa and the launch of a new Mangere SSAB retail outlet – Samoa Stationary And Books in Mangere.

But there were also many others.

I look forward to working with everyone again in 2017.

I wish you all a very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.

Kind regards,

Eleanor Ikinofo
