New Fiji product dancing promo at Auckland Food Show

Visitors to Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) New Zealand stands at the Auckland Food Show could be dancing!

Ashon NZ Ventures is launching two new products made in Fiji: Jive! Potato Snacks and Pacific Crown Kava. Part of their promo asks visitors to enter a challenge, show a few dance moves in front of the stand, to win a prize.

“We will ask show visitors to enter into the ‘15-second Jive! Snacks Challenge’,” Brett Kilip, Director of Online Marketing Brand & Web Solutions said.

“Show us a few dance moves in front of our stand, complete 15 seconds of moves to win Free 45g Pack of Jive Potato Snacks. Terms of entry apply,” Mr Kilip said.

Ashon Ventures NZ is one of nine Pacific Island food and beverage companies invited to be part of the PTI NZ stand at this year’s four-day Auckland Food Show at the ASB Showgrounds from 26-29 July.

Ashon Ventures NZ was invited to join the PTI stand and saw a good opportunity to share in a collective of Pacific businesses and raise awareness of the quality and value of Pacific origin products under the PTI NZ banner.

“Ashon Ventures NZ is very thankful of the opportunity to attend this pinnacle food show event with the financial support of Pacific Trade Invest and pleased to be able to showcase our Fiji origin products and present these brands to a well targeted public audience,” he said.

They want to raise brand awareness of Jive! Potato Snacks and Pacific Crown Kava.

But there’s a wider picture for being at the show.

“It’s also a great opportunity to meet with fellow producers, to network and create leads for sharing sales and distribution resources,” Mr Kilip said.

Ashon Ventures NZ has attended several past Auckland Food Shows.

This year, the company head Managing Director Jay Patel, will attend the show along with senior sales staff.

Jive! Potato Snacks and Pacific Crown Kava are produced by local manufacturers in Fiji.

Ashon Ventures NZ started in 1989 as an FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) wholesale, import and food distributor before developing its own brands and competing with other market leaders. Its company website showcases 15 product categories from office, baking and cooking to beverages, sauces, snacks and water products.
