All good things take time, goes the old saying. And after months of meticulous planning, the Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) New Zealand website is in the final stages of testing for a launch later this month. It was in October 2018 when we finally decided to create a website for PTI NZ.

Until then we had been happy to piggy back off of our transtasman sister organisation PTI Australia for our web presence, besides our very own Pacific Hub portal running alongside, listing trade and investment opportunities around the Pacific Islands region.

However, with the huge influx in online queries and with our Pacific partners moving towards a more digitalised economy, building a dedicated website that catered well to all our direct stakeholders made perfect sense.

With an ever growing series of events and shows that PTI NZ runs with its trade partners, we had to build something that showcased our markets and also gave the much needed platform to our pacific businesses that come to show case their wide variety of products.

We engaged Designer Tech, a New Zealand based tech firm for the mammoth task. They not only understood our vision but also the PTI and Pacific spirit.

Working closely with PTI NZ Trade & Investment Commissioner Micheal Greenslade and the PTI team, they have created a website that reflects the true culture of PTI NZ.

The new web platform will be the combined home for all PTI NZ’s digital online assets including Pacific Periscope, Pacific Hub and links to our social media presence, providing a wide range of information all on one website.

A soft launch at the PTI NZ office is scheduled week. The website will be launched publicly after robust testing, after a few weeks.
